FAQ

Why use a Certified Consultant?

A certified consultant is your assurance of quality. Certified consultants are equipped with the latest information on immigration law, procedures and practices and go about their business according to a strict, enforceable Code of Conduct. To become certified, consultants must pass a rigorous application process, which requires evidence of good character, and tests knowledge and language skills.   For added security and client protection, certified consultants are fully insured for errors and omissions and can be subject to complaints that are all duly investigated by CSIC.

Is a Certified Consultant more expensive?

Because certified consultants have to keep their credentials current by maintaining their CSIC membership in good standing and engaging in continuous professional development, they incur more expense. Their rates usually reflect this. In return, a certified consultant offers quality professional services and knowledgeable advice on immigration matters of critical importance to the client.

The above information has been taken from the CSIC, please see CSIC website for more nformation www.csic-scci.ca

Q. What is HRSDC approved employment in Canada?

A. Human Resources Service Development Canada, popularly known as HRSDC, is the labor department of Canada. In view of the foreign workers hired by many Canadian employers, their main function is to ensure that Canadian companies hire foreign workers due to shortage of manpower or lack of qualifications and/or skills specific to the job.

These foreign workers are to be hired on similar terms and conditions that will be offered to Canadian citizens and permanent residents. Canadian employers are required to make an application to the HRDC before hiring a foreign worker and evaluation of this application is known as labor market opinion or job offer validation.
Applicants who have received a job offer and need assistance in obtaining HRDC job validation on behalf of their employers can also avail our services.

Based on such a validated job offer, prospective immigrants can receive up to 10 points in their permanent immigration application under the Federal immigration program.

Q. What is Job offer Validation?

A. Job Offer Validation is a process by which a Canadian government body determines whether a particular job offer made by a Canadian employer to a foreign individual should be approved (validated).

HRDC confirmation is based on successfully establishing each of the following requirements:

  • The wages and working conditions of the employment would be sufficient to attract and retain Canadians; and
  • The employment is full-time and not seasonal.

When a job offer is validated by Human Resource Development Canada, the visa office is notified and an application form is then sent out to the foreign worker. Please note: The Canadian Embassy cannot provide information about job opportunities in Canada.
